Is Cash from Home a Scam?

  • There are so many scams and schemes on the internet and we’re all going to get rich tomorrow without lifting a finger, It’s all set it and forget it and our Paypal accounts will be like a slot machine and we all hit 777!

Obviously that isn’t true but sadly there are many scams and schemes on the internet and it’s hard to find the opportunities to actually earn an income online while working and creating lasting legitimate results.

Snopes has reported that there are even Home Cash Success scams featuring Google and Yahoo that mention a newly released work from home program that allows you to quit your job almost immediately.

Snopes says that the “Opportunity” specifies:

‘We start off our work from home program only requiring 1-2 hours a day of work, earning a great income from the start. This way our work from home employees will see the benefit and start devoting more and more time each day and their salaries will increase accordingly’ Google reports.

Although they are going very fast since their release earlier today, thousands of positions are still available at the time of this writing.

To apply for a job working from home for Google here are the three steps:

Step 1: Get the Google Work From Home Kit, only pay the $2.95 for shipping. (The shipping cost allows Google to screen for serious people).

Step 2: Follow the directions on your package and set up a Google account. Then they will give you the website links to post. Start posting those links. Google tracks everything.

Step 3: Google will send out your checks weekly. Or you can start to have them wire directly into your checking account. (Your first checks will be about $750 to $1,500 a week. Then it goes up from there. Depends on how many links you posted online.)

The above is directly from Snopes and if you believe it well then good luck and since I don’t believe in luck well ……

Forbes reports these 16 Work from home Scams to avoid!

  1. There are actually multiple other link posting scams that are extremely similar to Cash From Home. Each of them claims to make thousands of dollars just like posting links from home.

Unfortunately many inexperienced victims can’t differentiate the real way to make money online from the fake ones. Thanks for the heads up!

    1. You are welcome Edward and yes my Friend I agree!

Unfortunately some sites are scams and I’m proud to promote the one’s that I have found and use that aren’t.

I utilized the sites that I promote daily and have been able to increase website traffic, referrals and revenue through them my Friend.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting Edward,

      Tony

  2. Interesting post! Seeing scams like that makes my blood boil because I know there are many many people who are already in a bad position and put in money hoping it will help dig them back out. I’m curious about those programs you recommended. I love wealthy affiliate, but have never even heard of the last three! I really would like to check them out if I have time later. Do you have any reviews on each one individually? And have you seen significant traffic increases/sales from them? Thanks!

    1. Hi Sam,

Yes I have written reviews on each of the others and you can click on the highlighted words to take you to the reviews on my website my Friend. Wealthy Affiliate is amazing and I am honored that we are connected there Sam.

      Talk with you soon,

      Tony

  3. Tony, I love how you can call it like you see it. I always run into this sort of thing online: some huge guru claiming to be the next big thing. Thanks for giving your honest opinion about cash from home.

    Have you heard of IWillTeachYouToBeRich.com?

  4. This post is a great one and definitely helped me a lot. I had a so-called ‘guru’ trying to sell me one of the bad products through an email. But after some thorough research it looked like I made a good choice after all by not purchasing it, you have saved me some dollars Tony so I thank you for that 🙂 Now I know what works and what doesn’t.

Great article and a very helpful one.

    Cheers,
    Brandon

  5. Hi There Tony,

Awesome site and a fab article, thanks for sharing it with us, really appreciated.

We live in a time of desired instant success in everything to get what we want NOW, and that, I believe is what gives rise to many scams online of various types.

Wealthy affiliate is NOT one of them as there is no obligation to promote their program/training and actually train you to build a successful sustainable business … and that success is a slow but steady thing!

    1. Hi there Derek,

Thank you so much Derek for the wonderful compliment my Friend.

Yes we do live in a want it now instant world full of impatient and demanding success now or it’s a scam world!

I completely agree that Wealthy Affiliate is the farthest from being a scam that any online opportunity could possibly be.

Thank you Derek for sharing and caring,

      Tony

  6. The name already sounds like it’s a scam. With Wealthy Affiliate, I understand they teach you how to make money by creating a blog and promoting products on there but as everyone knows it all comes down to quality content and not everyone is good at writing. If you do outsource it, it’s gonna cost you quite a bit and that can hit you hard. Also, what if you keep adding content on your blog but still don’t see any financial results after a year? My question and concern here is can you really make money blogging?

    1. Hi Kent,

Thank you for commenting my Friend and I agree that the name sounds like a scam.

With Wealthy Affiliate the training, community and support absolutely can help anyone who is willing to put forth an effort to earn an income while blogging!

I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for over 15 months now and can testify to the fact that even though I’m not very good at writing. (I have improved in the past 15 months) that I am still generating an income from blogging and sharing my website content on Social Media, at IBO and other sites as well.

Once again Kent, Thank you for your comment and questions my Friend.

      Tony

  7. Tony, great info.
And great suggestions on (mostly) free websites to look into. I’ve had a great experience so far with Wealthy Affiliate, so I can vouch for that.
I visited IBOToolbox and I’m wondering if it’s more directed at, or set up to help, MLM businesses?
I plan to look into all three of your other recommendations.
    Thanks Tony.

    Larry

    1. Hi Larry,

Thank you for vouching for Wealthy Affiliate my Friend.

IBO is mostly comprised of MLM, Affiliate Marketers and Network Marketers but also has many Friends who also have brick and mortar businesses as IBO is in my opinion the #1 site for advertising and tools to grow any business.

Thank You Larry for viewing and commenting my Friend,

      Tony

  8. Lots of great information here. I am already a Wealthy Affiliate member, I can definitely vouch for what you are saying about WA.

The others one I haven’t tried, but I am now interested in checking out Global Money Line. It looks pretty interesting.

It’s too bad with all the scams out there, as they wreck it for the legit ones as well.

Snopes does a lot of myth-busting, some of the myths actually give me a good chuckle.

    1. Yes my Friend,

I love Snopes as well & sometimes wonder if even they are legit!

The Global MoneyLine is amazing as I have utilized it every day that I have been a member and highly recommend the site and product.

Thank you for also vouching for Wealthy Affiliate as I have been a member for just over 15 months and love the community, training, support and affiliate program as well.

Thank you my Friend for viewing and commenting,

      Tony

  9. Great post! I’m always receptive when it comes to ways to making money at home, but was always too afraid to give one a shot because I wasn’t sure if they were legit or not. Thanks for the list of your favourites, I will check them out.

    1. Wonderful Nicki! You are welcome my Friend. I have also at times been afraid of the internet scams of the world but have now realized that not all are created equally and that we can in fact earn an income online in a legitimate and productive way. Thank you Nicki for viewing and commenting my Friend.
