Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam. If you’re just out here for some quick money, it’s very unlikely that it will happen with Wealthy Affiliate. I wouldn’t recommend WA as an optimal solution for those who need a quick fix. It’s like a school, you learn one lesson at a time. You grow with the community. You graduate (you eventually know what you’re doing, and therefore can make a living out of it).

Hey Tony, thanks for the helpful article. It’s nice to know that it is not in fact a scam but I do have one concern. I’ve come across too many marketers and “free trainings” that promise me all this wonderful value but then don’t really deliver until they upsell me with relentless offers for more value if I “act quickly!” and drop a bunch of money to really get the “good stuff”. I completely agree. I’ve been with WA for maybe close to 4 years now and I wouldn’t dream of letting my premium membership expire. I was as much a skeptic as anyone when I started. But I started the free training and realized it wasn’t hard at all. I didn’t have to bother my friends to sell them anything or become that guy nobody wanted to invite anywhere, because he was always trying to sell everyone something. Nothing like that ever happened. All I did was create a website about something I was interested in and follow their directions to monetize it. That’s it! No one ever visited it that wasn’t looking for that information and that’s something I feel pretty good about.

Starting your own blog can be a very scary thing Tony and it is great to know that there is a learning platform out there that will teach you and that the community will support you on your journey. Wealthy Affiliate is a great name and very attractive to anyone who has never been around the internet. I know that just the thought of having to understand code and the technical aspects of building a business online kept me away for a long time.

My first question is always this one: how old is the site. Wealthy Affiliate is online sine 2006. It means a lot. Then, is the website focus on education first. The answer is not only “yes”. Hey Tony, See your website is coming together more and more. It was my one year anniversary at Wealthy Affiliate on Saturday, and I am paid up until Black Friday. I am keeping my fingers crossed for another discount on annual membership then. I’ve not really had huge success yet but am just building up my infrastructure at the moment. Using Ebooks as lead magnets etc. I see you are giving away a book also good for you and best of luck for 2021
personally, the post is straight to the point and has a personal touch. I don’t see a lot of numbers which is the usual norm for topics like this. It can go both ways but personally, this appeals to me. there are very few online platforms like wealthy affiliate that literally take you by the hand and walk you down the road to all possible avenues of running a successful business. I now have two websites up and running and both are slowly bringing me in extra income. I was astounded at the level of training given and most importantly the level of support provided. I am the first to admit not being very tech savvy when it comes to computers but the online support from Wealthy Affiliate provided me with everything I needed to know. I am thoroughly enjoying the further training and my sites can only go from to strength to strength.

I’m a member of Wealthy Affiliate as well. That said, I like the platform very much. It is not just a platform, it’s also a community, a training course, a hosting platform, and many many more. Being able to interact with other members, like-minded members is very encouraging. You can get answers to every problem you have. You just have to search for it, or just ask!
You have to put the work in though. The platform gives you a great tool, which you have to use day in, and day out!

Can’t agree more, Wealthy Affiliate is a sound choice for anyone who wants to get into Affiliate Marketing. I would have to say there’s two very important factors which make WA my favorite:
1) The founder of the website spends a lot of time on it, making blogs, lessons, answering questions, helping people, etc. I’ve even gotten to talk to Kyle 1-on-1 a few times before which is a sort of luxury you’ll get in very few other programs. To date, this is the only one where I’ve had such an experience.
2) 24/7 support for me has actually been 24/7 support. Other websites will boast it and will still leave you hanging. Whenever I’ve sent out a site ticket, I got a response back within 15 minutes or less.
Very timely, well-organized site with few bugs. WA is a gold mine of knowledge.
Wealthy Affiliate is a great platform and definitely not a scam. The community on there is unique, extremely helpful and supportive and I often see the founders of the platform, Kyle or Carson, active in the chat or in members blogs as well.
I think that Wealthy Affiliate offers good opportunities for anyone who wants to learn how to build a website and learn about affiliate marketing. The training is great and only in my first week I already learned so much. I can only highly recommend it!

The courses are simplified and quiet detailed. You don’t have to be an expert to start with Wealthy Affiliate. i a newbie there and I must say I landed on the right platform.
I have never explored any other affiliate marketing training platform except for Wealthy Affiliate. I signed up a starter account back in 2016 but didn’t pursue until 2020. I find that the platform is so amazing that I didn’t see the need to go anywhere else. It is probably more of a discipline that I should also try to look elsewhere to find any other platform that can really beat what Wealthy Affiliate has offered!

From my own personal experience. Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam. They offer a lot of training starting from the ground up. The community members are extremely helpful. The live chat can answer a question in seconds. They have site support that is available 24-7 and it really helps with WordPress.

I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate a little over a year when I was researching work at home jobs. I had previously given up on this “sort of thing” (get rich overnight with no effort whatsoever) and had researched hourly admin jobs from home but I didn’t have the equipment that was needed, and couldn’t afford it. So I took a look at WA (it was free, why not?). Their honesty about what I would need to be successful was refreshing. I voucher that it is not obviously a scam and ignore the negative comments after giving my first attempt and decide to upgrade to Premium after going through a few steps of training.
Wealthy affiliate is not a scam they help beginners get them started showing how to build a website. Watch the videos in tutorials they bring a lot of value helping people on their plate form to become successful. They have a community of people here to help you with any problems you have answering questions some of us can get lost which is ok. The WA community is here to help each other grow.

I have developed a lot of skills from watching those videos. Most of the networks I have made from the last six months have all come from WA because of their huge community.

It is possible to pay the membership yearly – that way one can save 2 months of membership.
Honestly, they could charge more, but this platform is made for everyone so everyone has a chance to become an online entrepreneur.

(You might have this elsewhere on your website so even a brief review might help) Then you can compare scams with the legitimacy of WA and how it stands out above other competitors who do not necessarily provide a useful, engaging product.
There are some grammatical errors (missed commas and such) and some sentences that I had to read twice to understand. So maybe have someone proofread your work beforehand.
Your descriptions of WA are very clear and informational. Good work on those! Maybe you could incorporate some paragraph headers to break up some of your descriptions. For instance, Benefits of WA’s Platform could go before you talk about the community and cost effectiveness of WA. Then maybe something like Learn to Identify Potentials From What You Love when you talk about niches and passions.
Finally, in general, organizing your insights into categories with the above breaks so that your ideas become clearer and more concise. There are MANY unscrupulous scammers in the online world – Wealthy Affiliate is not one of them. But anybody looking for opportunities needs to be convinced; thanks for writing this review.

I actually paid $199.00 per month for a training membership that was not nearly as complete as WA, and I still had to purchase my hosting platform, my WordPress theme, and a multitude of other expensive addons to their program. With Wealthy Affiliate I get “managed WordPress hosting” and hour upon hous of truly valuable training. And you really cannot put a pricetag on the value of the Wealthy Affiliate community!

How can one know a scam company? In my opinion, I have rules to determine scam companies and services and what to watch out for. No one is, is their product/services too pricey? Do they offer free trial? Is there money back guarantee? What are people talking about it? How about SSL encryption? Is it a new company? And many more questions to that. This really guide me to avoid scam services. Well, I can say that Wealthy Affiliate passed almost all those questions. So it’s safe.

When I upgraded, it turned out to be more of the same run around. Wealthy affiliate provided just what theyhave promised and more. After creaming of success, and experiencing several attempts/horrible failures. the idea of working online for myself–wanting to write what I am most passionate about, and leave the brick and mortar 50-hour week/hourly wage far behind–seemed almost impossible.
I stumbled upon Wealthy Affiliate 2 years ago. I was discouraged and tired, but decided to read on. There were no promises I’d be a millionaire by the end of the week, no hidden fees. There were plenty of WA members posting blogs and comments about working hard, helping others, and sharing experiences. It felt different–at first I thought it was me HOPING it would be different. And I told myself “one more chance to make a go of online business” and knew if this failed, I was out for good.
I joined, and here I am, still creating and loving what I do.
Anyone who thinks they can sign up and get rich right away is going to be disappointed.

The fact that you can “kick the tires” a bit first by trying it for free should be appealing to people. How many programs, schemes and, quite frankly, crummy things have we all tried, expecting at least some return on investment without getting anything in return, even if we try hard? Plenty! Wealthy Affiliate is the real deal, I agree with that.
I joined WA on the free trial and got so much value from it that it was a no-brainer to upgrade to a paid membership. I find the training to be super easy to digest and put into action straight away. I’ve been learning about blogging and affiliate marketing and am really enjoying the journey with them so far.
I personally was introduce to the wealthy affiliate family by a friend of mine but i had to do my research about it before joining which took me a while. A very detailed post, Tony! I really do not get why people are making fake news about Wealthy Affiliate being a scam. As a Wealthy affiliate member myself, I can attest that it has help me a lot, especially on choosing my niche specialty and website building. I currently am not doing reviews about scam products which garnered a positive return since I have successfully rank my post to page 2 of Google. As for the creation of website, they provide a step by step procedure how. And it has a very nice community that is always there to aid you. And that is really helpful for those who are just beginning. I highly recommend this platform to further hone ones skill.
At 52 I moved to South Korea to teach English. While here I decided to get my MA and also started rescuing animals. I quickly realized I would need more than my annual salary to keep up with expenses. Hello there, This is not the first Wealthy Affiliate review that I am reading I have read alot in the last few months and they all say the same thing” join join” although this one says the same thing but it does that with reasons and as a member I would say this the best WA review I have ever read.
I can confirm that create one’s own website is very easy using the Wealthy Affiliate training. And it get’s easier with every other website, now I have a few and I like the process. The amount of information and trainings at Wealthy Affiliate is huge and even someone who has no experience with internet, marketing etc. can learn it there.
I agree with your article about Wealthy Affiliate–good solid program that works for those that put the time and effort in.
Your initial dedication of an added 2 hours a day is admirable, and similar to other stories I’ve heard. Mine is slightly different. I started whiling caring for my elderly Dad. It was something I could do while caring for him.
During this crazy year of 2020, WA might be even more relevant for others to consider.

Wealthy Affiliate is most definitely a legit platform. The fact that they have lifetime cookies for their affiliate programs should be a heads up. I like the weekly live classes. I have to say it is one platform I never think twice about continuing my premium subscription. The community itself is off the top you get assistance in no time and all information is helpful. Not only Wealthy Affiliate offers training, but also is a platform to earn extra bucks like having your own tutorial course.

I will agree this is no a scam. How can it be if you can join for free? That is how much confidence they have in the program. It really does work.
I will admit your resources are limited on the free trial but you still have the ability to communicate with in the community and reach out for real time help. You can build your first website for free. and the training on what you need to do to add quality content to be indexed and ranked in browsers is step by step.
The Premium is a paid service but well worth the add ons that come with it. You will then have the ability to run your own business in online advertising from a domain you actually own.
It is not a get rich quick thing, you have to put in the effort and time to build your own content. Yes, your own. They do not tell you what you do with the training and resources they provide. They just give you the tools to be successful.
If you are looking for a pretty easy way to make some residual cash, here is the ticket.

Another point about any business that demands self motivation is to never quit. The longer you hang in there and keep working the business, the higher the adds are you will succeed. Because most of the others who started when you did, quit.

More than that, there are over 1 million followers of wealthy affiliate. Actually, this website have the qualification to know request more money for their videos and trainings. However, they didn’t, they still charge USD49 which is a relatively low cost to other training courses. I have heard a man who are selling these kind of courses for USD $10,000! It is insane.
After I have read your website, I have try to build my first website from wealthy affiliate, and it really works! My content have indexed in Google within 10 days! Pretty impressive right? And I am now passionate with building my website and teach others to build their website too.

I’m already a member of WA community and I am more than lucky to have the opportunity of attending an online school providing such a rich variety of tools, courses and webinars created with the main purpose of helping anyone willing to start and develop an online business. I admit that sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the great amount of information, but I can learn from other people’s experience if I want to and reading inspiring posts like this one can turn the whole process into a less difficult one because it’s easier to find the answers to all the possible questions.

For as long as I’ve been using Wealthy Affiliate (which honestly, probably hasn’t been too long compared to others), I think I can safely say that it’s not a scam. It’s been extremely helpful with an abundance of resources to help you start your own niche website and how to maintain it. WEALTHY AFFILIATE IS DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM!!!! Ok just wanted to make the point. I joined Wealthy Affiliate in 2008 but quit in 2009, due to commitments while in the military. I joined them again in 2018 (yes, after 10 years) and to my benefit, I paid the same price for my premium membership which was then $29.99. I quit again in 2019, and now rejoined them again in 2020, but now I’m determined to stay to finish the job but also establish my online affiliate marketing business. You see it’s not WA’s fault that I did not make it, it was all my fault that I did not take advantage of the opportunity handed to me on a silver platter.

Its is a place that offers real business and just like any other business, some succeed and others fail but it doesn’t mean the business is a scam,instead you just become lazy. I can totally 100% agree with this post. Wealthy Affiliate is the furthest thing from a scam. I thought it was in the beginning as well until I realized the value that it offered for such a low investment cost. It’s almost a no brainer. I’ve poured on many reviews trying to see through the fog of confusion. I wish I have seen this post while doing my research because it would only have aided me in making my decision to join sooner.
My first thought when I read the title of your Wealthy Affiliate was “No! It is not a scam” – actually it is the best platform for affiliate marketers I have found so far. I really appreciate when you say that many fail because they take things personally: it is true! I’m tired of people saying this is a scam. It’s only a scam when they’re not successful. Stop blaming the system for your bad luck or your procrastination! I’ve been here for about a month and earning a bit but I believe I will gain exponential growth soon. The program is superb , I knew it the first time I laid my eyes on the site. I’ve been to many programs before, this is by far the most beginner friendly.

I am currently with WA so I’ll get that out there but what you say it’s totally spot on. I searched all sorts of opportunities and this has been the most rewarding by far. I love the community and I think the fact you mention niche is so important as it can get you noticed with the audience who really want to interact with you. The fact it includes everything including hosting and the online community is very good value for money.
I do see some people join , not do the training and say it does not work but it’s a bit like saying the restaurant is bad when you have not tasted the food. I honestly can’t think of a negative to say about it but here is the caveat, of course you have to be prepared to put in the work 100%.

This is a huge relief as I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for over a year and been active now for about four months. I do think one of the most important aspects of making affiliate marketing work, is to find your direction, deciding what you need to focus on, and avoid distractions. To be absolutely honest the same applies to the Wealthy Affiliate community. It is possible to spend nearly all your free time socializing in the community and not make progress with the training and not spend your time creating content for your site and maintaining and promoting your site. Prioritizing your time and activities is very important. While I am sure it is great to become a Wealthy Affiliate ambassador that would not make sense for most people until you have become successful at affiliate marketing in your own right. For some reason I see some Wealthy Affiliate negative reviews and I also searched and found your review for a balanced perspective.
You have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate since 2015 Tony so should know as well as anyone about the quality of this training and mentoring community. I agree with you about it being cost-effective. A lot of other affiliate marketing training platforms do not include hosting. Wealthy Affiliates hosting and website support is super fast, managed hosting and very convenient. Also with some other platforms you still need to pay for a keyword tool. Jaaxy works a treat for keyword research.

The community on it is very alive and the simple interface is very new user friendly, which definitely is a plus. You won’t be making money without putting in the work but that is true for just about everything. There is no magic money tree and WA is a great platform to work from.

I don’t think anyone can come out and say that wealthy affiliate is a scam in any way because I have been on the platform for a few days now and it is worth every penny. The fact that there is a very elaborate training for any learner to follow step by step makes it even learner friendly. As a beginner, I believe that I would be able to go a long way on the platform and make money as well. At the end, I can say here that wealthy affiliate is not a scam.

Wealthy affiliate is not a scam and it can never be one because I actually make use of the platform too and I know the fact that it is very legit and everything they offer is awesome. Being on the platform, the support is crazy and the fact that one can even personally reach out to the owners and also, get the best training there is is great. Yes I agree that Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam, that is for sure. It is a great opportunity that would suit a great deal of people out there. There are a lot of people who can help and support you there, but I have also learnt that it requires dedication and allowing time to learn and go through the materials.
Having said that, for all the information, opportunities, the ability to create websites fast, the platform is great value for money. So long as you make use of it There is no use in just signing up and not logging in to do the training and the work on your websites.
It was my husband who suggested that I try this out and never did I think about after looking at it. I would come back from time to time checking things out and I said, you signed up, why not give it a try.
If you’re not into affiliate marketing, it’s confusing and stressful…but the fun is the challenge and with WA, the proof is in the pudding…you starting for free and a world of information and an amazing community that’s ready to help you grow. It’s worth it

I am an affiliate marketer as well and like what you’ve shared in your profile at WA, boy it is really hard. There are many times I wanted to quit and there are times when I ask if WA is actually really worth it.
My conclusion? Yes. WA is really worth it. Like what you’ve said in your article, WA has everything a person needs to start and run a profitable blog!
It has the training and lessons, community, tools, and even an affiliate program to help you monetize your site.
There are a lot of good things I can say about WA, but I’ll keep it short.

I like the large link to your Wealthy Affiliate page. I thought it was very quick and to the point. However, not much information given to support your question if wealthy affiliate a scam? Your word may not be enough to convince your readers of that point. then again, you may not have to if they go to your page and sign up. I like the nice and short. iw ould like to know if this works. May try it myself.
